Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, invites a Master’s student to join the AAES Commercial Marketing Business Operations team as a data analytics intern. You will support Long-Term Planning, build scalable analytics, and contribute to reporting frameworks using Power BI, SQL, Python, and Databricks.

This full-time internship (40 hours/week) lasts 6 months or longer, with potential for a thesis project.

Qualifications

• Master’s student in Business, Data Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Strong interest in data analytics, business intelligence, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts is required.
• Familiarity with Python and/or Databricks is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Support the improvement and automation of the Long-Term Planning (LTP) process
• Analyze existing LTP workflows and identify opportunities for simplification and standardization
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for business performance tracking
• Work with large datasets to support forecasting, funnel tracking, and design win analysis
• Contribute to data modeling, transformation, and validation using Power Query / SQL
• Support integration of data sources (e.g., Databricks, internal systems) into reporting solutions
• Assist in improving data quality, governance, and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Product Lines and Finance to align on data definitions and reporting logic
• Support ad-hoc analysis and preparation of insights for management presentations
