Job summary

Hunkemöller B.V. invites you to join the Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) program starting February 2027. You will gain hands-on experience with Looker, dbt, and LookML while learning to transform raw data into structured data marts.

You'll work with data engineers and BI specialists, building visualizations, documenting data models, and collaborating with stakeholders across functions in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management or related field.
• Foundations in SQL and basic data exploration/transformations.
• Interest in data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Analytical mindset with ability to investigate data issues and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with Looker visualizations and semantic layer development.
• Assist in dbt model development, testing and deployment to transform data.
• Contribute to documentation for data models and transformations.
• Collaborate with data engineers and BI specialists across business functions.
• Learn and apply stack components including dbt, Looker, and Google Cloud Platform.
