Job summary

Hunkemöller offers an exciting IT Data Engineering Internship at its Hilversum head office. You will design and improve data pipelines, transform raw data into clean datasets, and implement quality checks while collaborating with data engineers and BI teams.

This paid internship, starting February 2027 for five months, includes an assigned buddy, flexible WFH options, a generous stipend, travel allowances and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• You are pursuing a degree in a technical field relevant to data engineering.
• Foundation in SQL and interest in data transformation.
• Interest in Python programming and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve automated data pipelines for analysis and reporting.
• Develop data transformations to clean and normalize datasets.
• Implement data quality checks and monitor pipeline health.
• Document data flows, definitions and governance standards.
• Collaborate with data engineers and BI stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Support migration or modernization of legacy pipelines.
