Job summary

Informa Group Plc. is offering a data analytics internship based in our Amsterdam, Netherlands Office. You will extract and analyze data, build dashboards and reports, and help ensure data quality across the portfolio.

The program requires ongoing university enrollment in data science, statistics, or related fields and involves learning and collaboration with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders over 5–6 months starting February 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and at least one programming language (Python/R).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Basic understanding of statistics, data structures, and analytical methods.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and work.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze and provide outcomes to stakeholders to drive decision making with data.
• Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or BI platforms (Power BI).
• Work closely on maintaining data quality, integrity, and usability across the portfolio.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Help maintain data documentation, metadata, and process workflows for our key projects.
• Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Participate in projects involving datamodeling and KPI tracking.
• Support automation of routine reporting tasks.

This role is based in ourAmsterdam, Netherlands Office.

Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, orrelated fields.

This internship opportunity is available for 5 to 6 months, starting on Feb 1st, 2027.
