Job summary

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, is offering an analytics internship based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The role involves extracting and analyzing data to drive stakeholder decisions and supporting dashboards and reports using Excel, SQL, Python, and BI tools.

You will collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and contribute to KPI tracking. The internship lasts 5 to 6 months, starting February 1, 2027.

Qualifications

Job Description

This role is based in ourAmsterdam, Netherlands Office.

Extract, analyze and provide outcomes to stakeholders to drive decision making with data.

Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or BI platforms (Power BI).

Work closelyonmaintainingdata quality,integrity,and usability across the portfolio.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.

Helpmaintaindata documentation, metadata, and process workflowsfor our key projects.

Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.

Participate in projects involving datamodeling andKPI tracking.

Support automation of routine reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, orrelated fields.

Foundational knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and at least one programming language (Python/R).

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.

Basic understanding of statistics, data structures, and analytical methods.

Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

This internship opportunity is available for 5 to 6 months, starting on Feb 1st, 2027.
