Job summary

Virtuagym is seeking a Business Intelligence intern to join the data-analytics team in Amsterdam or remotely. This six-month internship offers hands-on experience in data-driven innovations within sports-tech and international business.

You will collaborate with BI, Financial Transformation and Go-to-Market teams, gaining exposure to data modeling, ETL, and dashboard development. You will grow your professional skills while contributing to real projects in a fast-paced, high-performing culture

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, econometrics, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Work with business teams to understand questions and turn them into data requirements.
• Build ETL processes to extract, clean, and combine data from different sources.
• Build and improve data models for reliability and ease of use.
• Create dashboards and reports to track performance and inform decisions.
• Look for ways to automate manual data tasks and improve handling processes.
• Share findings clearly in writing and verbally.
• Bring ideas to extract more value from data.

As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complete our Business Intelligence team. What this role looks like

During this exciting 6-month internship you will support one of our innovations in which we are using the data generated by millions of app-users. You’ll be challenged in a fast moving environment with exceptional learning opportunities. You’ll be a respected member of the team and have the opportunity to deliver your own projects. In addition, you’ll work closely with the business intelligence, Financial Transformation and Go-to-Market departments, getting the chance to develop a range of professional skills and expertise. Some of your key tasks

• Work with business teams to understand their questions and turn them into clear data requirements
• Build ETL processes to extract, clean, and combine data from different sources
• Build and improve data models so that data is reliable, consistent, and easy to use
• Create dashboards and reports that help teams track performance and make decisions
• Look for ways to automate manual work and improve how we handle data
• Share your findings in a clear and simple way, both in writing and in person
• Bring your own ideas on how we can get more value from our data

What you will bring to the team

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, econometrics, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or a related field
• You are highly motivated, take initiative, and have a strong work ethic
• You have strong analytical skills and a getting-things-done mentality
• You read, speak and write English fluently
• You are available for a full-time internship of at least 5 months
• You are able to work in a hybrid setup in Amsterdam
