Job summary

Swiss Life is seeking a Data Analyst to turn operational data into insights, build Power BI dashboards, and support automation and AI initiatives across the organization.

The role collaborates with Operations, IT, Marketing, and other teams in an international, data-driven environment. Requires 1+ year in data analytics and strong Python/SQL skills, with GDPR awareness and familiarity with APIs/Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Econometrics, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a data, analytics, business intelligence, or related role.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Experience with a BI platform, preferably Power BI.
• Understanding of data governance principles and GDPR requirements.
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms (such as Azure), and integration technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance products and processes is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, owning the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to production delivery
• Respond to data requests and perform ad hoc analyses for operational stakeholders
• Translate business questions into data models, queries, and actionable recommendations
• Monitor, identify, and help resolve data quality issues in collaboration with data owners
• Document data processes, business logic, and data flows to ensure transparency and consistency
• Support data engineering activities and help improve data foundations across the organization
• Manage and support local reporting applications and analytical tools
• Contribute to the development and pilot implementation of AI agents and intelligent automation solutions
