Job summary

Basic-Fit is looking for a Data Analyst to join the central Data Platform Team. You’ll own cross‑functional reports used across Europe, turning questions into trusted, actionable dashboards and helping teams take ownership of their own reports over time.

In a typical week you’ll maintain central reports, support teams without analysts, answer ad‑hoc data questions, present insights to stakeholders, and collaborate with Data Platform Engineers to source data in Databricks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including building reports, DAX and data modelling basics
• Strong SQL skills to explore, validate and understand data
• Strong data visualisation skills and a good feel for design standards: you turn complex data into clear, consistent, actionable dashboards that follow best practices
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating their needs into reports
• Flexibility to quickly get up to speed in different business areas, as you’ll support a variety of teams
• A mindset of enabling others: you like to document, automate and hand over
• Attention to detail and data quality: you validate your numbers and spot inconsistencies
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Experience with Databricks, Python or Fabric is a plus
• Experience using AI tools to speed up analysis and reporting is a plus

This Is What Your Role Looks Like

You’ll join the central Data Platform Team as the Data Analyst for our central, cross-functional reports and for teams that don’t have an analyst of their own. You’ll work directly with the business, from the first question to a clear, finished report that people actually use. Over time, you’ll help teams take ownership of their own reports.
