Job summary

Damen is seeking a strategic Data & AI Governance Lead to shape and scale Damen's data governance foundation globally. You will lead a team of Data Stewards, project managers, and AI governance specialists to embed governance into daily operations, analytics and AI initiatives.

In this role, you will align data ownership, quality, lineage and access controls with business needs, drive change across IT and business units, and champion responsible AI practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance and data quality.
• Deep knowledge of master data and metadata.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with complex manufacturing or ERP environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Damen's Data & AI Governance capability.
• Govern data ownership, stewardship, and data quality improvements.
• Collaborate with IT, security, analytics, and business stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of governance principles across platforms.
• Shape scalable governance aligned with data models and metadata.
• Ensure governance supports responsible AI and transparency.
