Job summary

Philips is seeking a Data & AI Engineer to bridge business analysis, data engineering and agentic AI. You will work hands-on in Python and SQL, build data solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse, and collaborate with stakeholders across Services, Sales, Marketing and Operations to translate complex questions into reliable insights.

You will curate data from Salesforce, SAP and ServiceNow, ensure data governance, and prototype AI solutions with scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS / information management / data science or AI related field.
• 5+ years experience in data handling, analytics, data engineering or AI development.
• Strong Python and SQL with Spark/PySpark and Delta Lake.
• Experience with Databricks Lakehouse and cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS valued).
• Experience building agentic AI solutions and production-ready pipelines.
• Proficient in explaining data quality and business implications to stakeholders.
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, and ServiceNow in enterprise data contexts.
• Knowledge of dbt and Power BI; healthcare/regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Services, Sales Ops, Marketing and other stakeholders to translate questions into analytics.
• Acquire and prepare data from enterprise systems ensuring quality and governance.
• Analyze commercial, financial and operational data to explain performance and pipelines.
• Build datasets and data products on Databricks Lakehouse with Azure/AWS resources.
• Prototype and productionize agentic AI solutions for trusted business insights.
• Coordinate cross-functional data/AI initiatives from requirements to deployment.
• Contribute to data/AI strategy and share best practices across the team.
