Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking an experienced D2P Project & Team Lead to drive the Design-to-Print process for global and local packaging artwork across brands. You will lead a team, coordinate with marketing, R&D, procurement, and factories, and ensure milestones are met while optimizing speed-to-market.

In this role you will oversee prioritization, resource allocation, and performance tracking, providing transparency to senior leadership and continuously improving processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Design-to-Print, packaging production, and packaging artwork coordination in a production-oriented design environment.
• Proven experience in guiding, coaching, and motivating team members in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects under time pressure.
• Good understanding of packaging materials, printing techniques, and artwork management systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence partners across functions.
• High level of accuracy in administration and evaluating financial implications of process changes.

Job description

As theD2P Project & Team Lead, you will be part of the PMO organization, reporting to the Global Design Excellence Manager. You will be responsible for leading the Design-to-Print (D2P) process for all printed packaging artworks across Tier 1, 2, and 3 brands, ensuring seamless execution from design to final print production.

• Lead and coach a team of D2P coordinators to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality packaging artwork across the global and local portfolio.
• Manage the end-to-end D2P process for innovations, brand renovations, and local marketing initiatives, ensuring all milestones are met within the Design-to-Print Management tool.
• Oversee project prioritization and resource allocation within the team to balance workload and ensure on-time delivery of multiple complex projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Marketing, R&D, Procurement, and Factories, to align technical requirements with brand strategy.
• Drive process excellence and continuous improvement within the D2P landscape to enhance speed-to-market.

• Relevant Professional Experience: 8–10 years of experience in Design-to-Print, packaging production, and packaging artwork coordination within a production-oriented design environment.
• People Leadership:Proven experience in guiding, coaching, and motivating team members in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting.
• Advanced Project Management:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and create clarity under time pressure.
• Technical Packaging Knowledge:Good understanding of packaging materials, printing techniques, and artwork management systems.
• Strategic Influencing:Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence partners across commercial and technical functions.
• Analytical and Detail-Oriented:High level of accuracy in administration and the ability to evaluate the financial implications of process adjustments.
