Job summary

Boat Bike Tours in Amsterdam is seeking a confident Tour Leader with a passion for cycling, travel and people. You guide cycling tours along scenic European routes, oversee safety, and maintain a warm group atmosphere.

You'll work with an international crew on a ship-based tour program, delivering engaging region briefings, handling logistics, and keeping guests safe and inspired throughout 7‑day itineraries across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.

Qualifications

• Availability of at least 8 weeks during the travel season 2027 (spring to autumn).
• Fluent in English and Dutch; German is required; French a plus.
• Confident public speaker with strong leadership and guest-focused mindset.
• Good knowledge of cycling, routing and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead cycling tours for groups of guests along selected routes.
• Provide clear briefings and engaging regional explanations.
• Ensure safety, coordinate with crew and office, handle unexpected situations.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive group atmosphere throughout tours.
