Job summary

Accenture the Netherlands is seeking a Cyber Defense Manager to lead transformation and maturation of clients' Security Operations and MxDR capabilities.

You will advise senior stakeholders, drive SOC modernization, mentor teams, and support business development with global clients, applying expertise in SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and threat analytics.

Qualifications

• Extensive cybersecurity consulting experience with client-facing roles.
• Proven leadership in cyber defense or SOC transformation.
• Fluent English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior stakeholders on Cyber Defense strategy, SOC transformation, and MxDR adoption.
• Define target operating models, maturity roadmaps, and improvement initiatives for Security Operations.
• Lead or support responses to Requests for Proposal (RfPs) and craft compelling solution narratives for Cyber Defense opportunities.
• Mentor junior and mid-level team members and manage delivery of Cyber Defense transformations.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities and building client relationships.
• Oversee detection engineering, threat analytics, automation, and SOC operating processes.
