Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking a Customs Supervisor to lead and coach the Customs team, ensuring timely declarations and bonded warehouse administration.

You will act as key-user of the Customs Software, coordinate reports and payments, support audits, and ensure compliance with laws. You’ll also manage risk, build client and regulator relationships, and drive continuous improvement with the Customs Manager Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in customs or logistics
• Strong knowledge of national and international customs regulations and VAT
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Customs team
• Ensure accurate, timely declarations and bonded warehouse administration
• Act as key-user of Customs Software and coordinate reports, reconciliations and payments
• Contribute to policy, procedures and improvement projects with the Customs Manager Netherlands
• Support customs audits (e.g., AEO) and ensure legal compliance
• Manage (in)direct representation agreements and annual reviews
• Identify risks and deviations, contribute to corrective actions
• Maintain relationships with clients, customs authorities and other bodies
