Overview

Summary: We are currently looking for a Customer Service & Pro-Express Specialist (based in the Netherlands – ideally in the Weert area, as the responsibilities include daily presence in the Pro-Shop, located there).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person assistance to customers visiting the Pro Express Shop, offering expert advice on security products, such as cameras and alarm systems.
• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately through the order entry system.
• Assist customers by phone and email regarding product inquiries, order status and post-purchase support.
• Recommend suitable product alternatives when specific items are out of stock or unavailable.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available inventory and product specifications.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing friendly, solution-oriented service.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Keep the shop well-organized, clean and stocked with current product information and promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Min. Bachelor degree (or equivalent), most preferably in business or technical area (however, not a hard requirement).
• Min. 1 year of proven experience in customer service, preferably in a retail or technical products environment. Fire industry experience will be a strong asset.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and order management tools.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Basic knowledge of security products (e.g., cameras, alarm systems) or strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and inventory checking.
• Ability to problem-solve and suggest alternative solutions, when products are unavailable.
• A proactive, customer-first attitude and a team-player mindset, highly motivated.
