Job summary

Mars Food & Nutrition Oud-Beijerland (Netherlands) seeks a Product Development & Culinary Scientist to shape the innovation pipeline from concept to market. You will blend food science, culinary expertise and project leadership to deliver consumer-loved products at scale.

You will lead cross-functional teams across R&D, Marketing, Commercial, Supply, Engineering and QA, driving multiple projects and ensuring alignment with the global food strategy.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant food science/engineering field with strong academic achievement.
• Evidence of cross-functional collaboration and project leadership.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development activities across innovation projects from concept through launch.
• Translate briefs into compelling product propositions aligned with consumer, customer and business needs.
• Develop scientifically sound and culinary-inspired product solutions that align with global food strategy.
• Partner with Global and Regional teams to set targets and implementation pathways.
• Drive workstreams balancing desirability, feasibility and viability; manage timelines and budgets.
• Own product attributes including taste, performance, nutrition, and cost; ensure IP protection.
