nhow Amsterdam RAI in Amsterdam is seeking a Kitchen Intern to join our iconic, design-forward hotel. You will assist in the kitchen, learn recipes, assist in portioning and garnishing, and support outlets including breakfast, banqueting, Moana bar and room service.

The internship is a hands-on learning path in a vibrant, international team. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant school, be comfortable in English, and be available for at least 4 months.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a relevant school and internship is a compulsory part of your study.
• Able to work in an English-speaking environment.
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
• Have an eye for detail and be guest-oriented.
• Flexible in working hours and workload; able to handle stress.
• Self-develop and seek challenges; available for a minimum of 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Learn everything needed for a great career in the kitchen; prepare dishes according to recipes; assist with à la minute cooking if needed.
• Pay attention to portioning and garnishing according to instructions.
• Support kitchen operations across outlets (breakfast, banqueting, Moana bar and room service).
• Be part of an international team and learn in a dynamic hotel environment.
