Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a CUCM Engineer to deploy, configure, automate, and validate Cisco Unified Communications environments across complex infrastructures. You will drive automated deployment pipelines and support full UC stack from testing to operational handover.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Cisco Unified Communications engineering experience.
• Experience with CUCM environment deployment and validation.
• Proficient in Jabber, CMS, and vCUBE configurations.
• Knowledge of SIP, PSTN integration, and dial plans.
• Familiarity with IaC, Ansible, Argo Workflows, and APIs (AXL/SOAP/REST).
• Ability to operate across testing, deployment, and handover stages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks.
• Develop and maintain Argo Workflows orchestration.
• Integrate Cisco UC platforms using AXL, SOAP and REST APIs.
• Support IaC, automated provisioning and zero-touch deployment.
• Lab-based integration and system verification testing.
• Functional, operational and interoperability testing.
• Validate federation and interoperability testing.
• Collect deployment/testing evidence and produce documentation.
• Analyze logs, traces and packet captures to diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoot signalling, media, routing, security and platform issues.
• Use RTMT, CMS diagnostics, vCUBE logs for fault investigation.
• Root cause analysis for complex UC and networking issues.
• Support transition to operations and handover to the team.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
