Job summary

Wypoon Technologies BV in Amsterdam seeks a Cryptography Security Specialist to shape enterprise cryptography strategy and risk frameworks. You will advise, assess, and validate cryptographic choices, acting as a sparring partner for security leadership and business stakeholders.

You will help define policies and standards, oversee crypto lifecycle, and guide post-quantum readiness while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security or cryptography domains.
• Knowledge of cryptographic protocols, algorithms and key management.
• Experience shaping cryptographic policies, governance and lifecycle frameworks.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST or ETSI standards.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an organization-wide cryptographic strategy.
• Define policies, guidelines, and cryptography standards across domains.
• Advise on key management, crypto lifecycle and governance.
• Prepare for post-quantum cryptography with scenario planning and impacts.
• Review cryptographic implementations by internal security engineers.
• Translate regulatory frameworks into actionable practices.
• Act as SME for internal and external stakeholders.
