Job summary

SITS is seeking a PKI Specialist to strengthen our clients' digital environments through applied cryptography, certificate lifecycle management, and post-quantum readiness guidance. You will design cryptography solutions, implement configurations, and mentor peers across Europe, with a focus on hybrid work and weekly Waardenburg visits.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in cybersecurity consulting, strong English and Dutch skills, HBO+ credentials, and familiarity with Thales and Keyfactor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity consulting experience, preferably in applied cryptography.
• Fluent English and business proficiency in Dutch.
• Completed HBO+ technical education; relevant cybersecurity certifications a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
• Experience with security tools like Thales and Keyfactor is a plus.
• Available for at least 32 hours per week and willingness to visit Waardenburg weekly.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to map Applied Crypto needs and design tailored solutions.
• Support implementation and configuration of cryptography solutions.
• Act as SME in cryptography and provide ongoing technical guidance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for applied crypto solutions and processes.
• Mentor colleagues within the Applied Crypto unit.
