Job summary

Oaklins' Amsterdam office seeks motivated professionals to join our small-cap and mid-cap M&A teams, working on national and international deals across sectors. You will be part of small deal teams of 3–5 people and receive on-the-job training, with a clear path to greater responsibility.

We look for a Master’s in Business Economics or related field, relevant M&A internship experience, and excellent Dutch and English communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Economics or related program is required.
• Relevant M&A experience is preferred.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills are essential.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Work as a sell- or buy-side advisor for domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, corporations and financial investors on varied M&A consulting projects.
• Conduct industry research and identify potential buyers and targets across industries.
• Play a key role in process control, document preparation, communications with parties, and negotiating to completion.
• Analyze company performance, market positioning and valuations; build models and manage due diligence.
• Create meaningful presentations for clients that clearly convey complex content and drive decisions.
