Job summary

Oaklins Netherlands is seeking an Analyst for its Equity & ECM Advisory team in Amsterdam. You will support IPOs, share issues, block trades, and pre-IPO equity raisings, while assisting listed clients on M&A activities. The role offers a steep learning curve, on-the-job training, and collaboration across Oaklins offices worldwide.

You will develop research and valuation skills, work on high-profile transactions, and interact with clients and senior colleagues to drive solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business economics with excellent academic record.
• Relevant experience, e.g., internships in related fields.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail.
• Creative, open-minded and solution-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equity capital markets and industry research.
• Research venture capital and scale-ups to identify growth companies for various financing rounds.
• Work on high-profile equity capital markets, public M&A and growth equity fundraisings; support process control and document preparation.
• Identify client needs and propose suitable equity financing solutions.
• Analyze past and future company performance and build valuation models.
• Create concise presentations that communicate complex content effectively.
• Learn quickly, take responsibility, and collaborate with Oaklins Netherlands and global teams.
