Job summary

KWS Polska Sp. z o.o. seeks a Crop Protection Expert (m/f/d) to advance sustainable crop protection for sugar beet across Poland. The role covers strategy development, field trials, and knowledge transfer, collaborating with international experts.

The successful candidate will lead technical training, support customers, and participate in global projects, traveling up to 75% and working in a hybrid setting to drive innovation within our international network.

Qualifications

• University degree in Agronomy or related field.
• Experience in crop protection with herbicides and fungicides.
• Strong knowledge of weed science, plant protection, and resistance management.
• Experience planning, conducting, and evaluating field trials.
• Experience delivering technical training and knowledge transfer.
• Certification or authorization to advise on plant protection products is desirable.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinking and proactive attitude; ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Fluent Polish and good English.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Driving license and willingness to travel ~75% across Poland and occasional travel abroad.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to manage weed and fungal pathogen resistance in sugar beet production.
• Plan, establish, and manage field trials across Poland; analyze results and provide recommendations.
• Monitor resistance; collect field samples; collaborate with HQ and international experts.
• Transfer global technical knowledge to the Polish market and support innovation.
• Prepare and deliver technical training sessions, field demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Provide technical and agronomic support to key customers and resolve challenges.
• Represent KWS at industry events and field days; strengthen technical partnerships.
