Job summary

Difuzed BV is seeking a part-time Credit Controller / Financial Administrator to manage accounts receivable, invoicing, follow-up and general financial tasks in a dynamic, international environment.

The role requires an MBO in finance, at least four years of relevant experience, and strong Dutch and English skills. SAP Business One experience and MS Office proficiency are valuable assets.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO in a financial/administrative field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Experience with automated accounts receivable systems and order-to-cash.

Responsibilities

• Generate, check, and send sales invoices.
• Monitor and collect outstanding receivables timely.
• Follow up on disputes and correct invoices.
• Send reminders and dunning letters.
• Assess creditworthiness of customers and record payment terms.
• Prepare provisions and write-offs proposals.
• Discuss AR portfolio weekly with account managers.
• Help develop and improve Credit Control procedures.
• Prepare management reports (DSO, aging analyses).
• Transfer receivables to collection agencies.
• Post bank transactions and support CBS and VAT tasks.

Credit Controller / Financial Administrator (Part-time)

You have a hands‑on mentality and feel responsible for a smooth order‑to‑cash process, including invoicing, follow‑up, and general financial tasks.

Your tasks include:

• Generating, checking, and sending sales invoices.
• Monitoring and timely collecting outstanding receivables.
• Following up on disputes and processing corrections on sales invoices.
• Generating and sending reminders and dunning letters.
• Assessing the creditworthiness of (new) customers and recording payment agreements.
• Preparing proposals for provisions and write‑offs.
• Discussing the accounts receivable portfolio weekly with account managers.
• Helping develop and improve the Credit Control procedure.
• Preparing management reports such as DSO and aging analyses.
• Transferring receivables to collection agencies.
• Determining delivery blocks where necessary.
• Posting bank transactions.
• General financial tasks: including support with:
  • CBS reports
  • Licensing reports
  • VAT returns
  • Co‑authorizing payments
  • Replacing colleagues during holidays or absence

Our ideal candidate has…

• At least a completed MBO education in a financial or administrative field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and persuasiveness.
• Experience with automated accounts receivable systems and order‑to‑cash processes.
• Good command of MS Office.
• Strong command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• The ability to maintain oversight, set priorities, and switch quickly.
• A plus: experience with SAP Business One
