Job summary

Finst seeks an ambitious Country Manager for the DACH region (Germany and Austria) to lead international expansion from Amsterdam. You will own market performance, build partnerships, drive growth, and shape brand presence while collaborating with central teams for localized customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and German (native-level German required).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within fast-growing European fintech, crypto, or regulated tech.
• Strong network to build partnerships and brand presence in German and Austrian markets.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree from a top-tier university in business, marketing, economics or related field.
• Deep understanding of crypto and financial services industry.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, externally and internally.
• Proven track record of driving growth and owning market-level performance in startup/scale-up.
• Comfort working in regulated industries with compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own go-to-market strategy for Germany and Austria with full responsibility for local growth and performance.
• Act as regional ambassador, representing Finst at events, conferences, and community gatherings.
• Develop and manage partnerships with local affiliates, fintech ecosystems, media, influencers, and strategic players.
• Build and maintain PR relationships to secure high-quality media exposure and strengthen brand credibility.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, compliance, and operations to localize offerings for DACH clients.
• Monitor market trends, competition, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Drive regional marketing and growth initiatives with central teams and ensure locally resonant campaigns.
• Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights to senior leadership (KPIs, levers, expansion).
• Scale local operations over time and potentially build a dedicated DACH team.

After becoming one of the largest crypto platforms in The Netherlands, we are now launching our services across all main European markets. As part of this international expansion, Germany and Austria (DACH) are strategic priority markets for Finst.

To lead this next growth chapter, we are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Country Manager DACH, who will become the face of Finst in the region. You will own the market’s performance end-to-end: from building strong partnerships and driving local adoption, to shaping our brand presence, PR efforts, and community engagement.

This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven scale-up at an exciting stage, and to play a key role in establishing Finst as one of the strongest crypto brands in Europe.

Your daily adventures will include

• Owning and executing Finst’s go-to-market strategy for Germany and Austria, with full responsibility for local growth and performance.
• Acting as the regional ambassador and public face of Finst, representing the company at key industry events, conferences, and community gatherings.
• Developing and managing strong partnerships with local affiliates, fintech ecosystems, media, influencers, and strategic players to accelerate client acquisition.
• Building and maintaining PR relationships in the region, securing high-quality media exposure and strengthening brand credibility.
• Working closely with internal teams (marketing, product, compliance, operations) to localize our offering and ensure a best-in-class customer experience for DACH clients.
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Driving regional marketing and growth initiatives together with central teams, ensuring campaigns resonate locally.
• Providing regular performance updates and strategic insights to senior leadership, including KPIs, growth levers, and expansion opportunities.
• Scaling local operations over time, with the potential to build and lead a dedicated DACH team.

What you’ll need to be successful

• Comfort working in regulated industries, with strong awareness of compliance and local market requirements
