We are Huisman. We develop step changing technical solutions and translate these into the design and construction of the largest construction equipment. For decades, we have been working all over the world for offshore wind, geothermal, oil & gas, leisure and civil industries.
With our passionate workforce and worldwide production, service & sales facilities we are equipped for impact in these times of transition.
“\"We love creating something that doesn’t exist yet. And if it does, I know we can make it even better.\"”
As Corporate Recruiter, you are responsible for the entire recruitment process, from intake through to onboarding. You independently manage multiple vacancies across different disciplines and target groups and adapt flexibly as recruitment needs change.
You operate as a trusted sparring partner for the business. Through a thorough intake with the hiring manager, you understand the need, priority and rationale behind a recruitment request and critically assess what is really required in terms of profile, experience, salary level and availability.
You write and publish vacancies, actively source candidates through LinkedIn and other channels, and take full ownership of the initial selection. You review CVs and applications, conduct candidate interviews and decide which candidates to present to the hiring manager. You then manage the entire process, from interviews through to assessments, case studies and feedback. You assess salary expectations against our internal frameworks, negotiate offers and, once an agreement has been reached, ensure a smooth handover to HR Support. Throughout the process, you keep candidates and hiring managers well informed, keep the ATS up to date and ensure a professional candidate experience.
External recruitment and contingent hiring are also part of your remit. You manage recruitment partners and suppliers and oversee recruitment & selection, secondment, temp-to-perm arrangements, external hiring and transfers to direct employment. You negotiate rates, fees, terms and transfer arrangements, assess different contractual and hiring structures, and monitor agreements, costs and added value.
In addition, you actively promote Huisman and our vacancies, for example via LinkedIn, and contribute to improving recruitment processes and bringing structure where needed.
You are a confident business partner who does more than simply execute: you advise and manage expectations. You are hands-on, independent, decisive, results-oriented and pragmatic. You are persuasive, well organised, able to switch quickly between different stakeholders and comfortable adapting when priorities change.
You feel at home in an organisation where processes are not always fully developed or documented. You work independently and in a process-oriented way, maintain oversight and bring structure to your own area of responsibility. Experience working within a family-owned business, with an understanding of its dynamics, short lines of communication, informal decision-making and differing interests, is an advantage.
You have:
Think big and make big, all in one location. At Huisman Schiedam, both our office and production facilities are based on a single site.
An open, informal and no-nonsense culture with short lines of communication.
An international working environment with ample opportunities for career progression and personal development.
An excellent benefits package tailored to your experience and qualifications.
Depending on your experience and knowledge, the salary ranges from €4.400,- to €6.200,- gross per month, with scope for further progression within the scale.
A minimum of 29 holiday days (based on full-time employment) with the option to purchase an additional 10 days.
Participation in a collective pension scheme in line with the Wtp (3.6% employee contribution and 6.6% Huisman contribution).
Eligibility for a bonus scheme.
Access to collective health insurance, with Huisman contributing as your employer.
Take advantage of tax benefits through our bicycle scheme.
