Job summary

Santander CIB in Amsterdam is seeking an Associate to support Senior Bankers in managing corporate client relationships across the Benelux. You will contribute to origination and execution across Global Banking, including syndicated loans, DCM, and GTB, while preparing credit analyses and client presentations.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in CIB, a Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred), and fluency in English; Dutch/Spanish/French are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in Corporate & Investment banking at a top-tier international bank.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred); strong academic track record in business, finance, accounting or economics.
• Fluent in English; Dutch/French/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Bankers and VPs in managing relationships with large corporate clients headquartered in the Benelux.
• Assist in origination and execution of transactions across Global Banking, including Syndicated Loans and DCM; GTB and related solutions.
• Prepare credit risk analyses and present to credit; deliver client presentations and support coverage initiatives.
• Mentor analysts and interns; help manage KYC and Compliance for clients.
