Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Amsterdam is seeking a talented investment banking professional to contribute to the origination and execution of M&A, Leveraged Finance and ECM for clients across the Benelux. The role demands 2–5 years of experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance, native Dutch, fluent English, and solid M&A background.

You will support end-to-end deal processes, engage with clients and senior bankers, and use financial modelling to structure transactions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant full-time experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance.
• Native Dutch and fluent English language skills.
• M&A experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support origination and execution of M&A, Leveraged Finance and ECM transactions for clients across the Benelux.
• Prepare and review detailed valuation analyses, including DCFs, trading comparables, precedent transactions and LBO analyses.
• Support end-to-end transaction execution, including day-to-day project and process management, financial modelling, deal structuring, due diligence and transaction documentation.
• Actively communicate with clients, advisers and senior investment bankers, including participation in client meetings and origination and execution-related events.
• Assist senior team members in the origination of new business, including identifying target opportunities and preparing presentation materials for clients, investors and the broader investment community.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
