Job summary

BlockTech in Amsterdam is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Core team. You will work on systems that keep trading operations accurate, from positions to PnL, and help integrate new venues and data pipelines in real time.

You will own critical data flows, design services for real-time exchange throughput, and contribute to self-healing, hedging, and reporting capabilities. English communication is essential in this global team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience with Rust and Python in production environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Work on systems that keep trading operations accurate across positions, PnL and instruments.
• Own data flows and real-time pipelines feeding market data and events.
• Integrate new venues including protocol, settlement, and reconciliation aspects.
• Design services for real-time exchange flow with high throughput and reliability.
• Develop self-healing systems to detect and repair discrepancies.
