Job summary

Make it in the North is seeking a Senior Legal & Compliance professional in Groningen to manage contractual risk and data privacy for multi-entity projects. You will work with Commercial, Compliance and HR teams to ensure NDA, data protection, and regulatory compliance across client and supply chain contracts.

Responsibilities

• Identify contractual risk and advise mitigations.
• Ensure NDAs with clients, staff and suppliers.
• Provide legal advice on data privacy and security.
• Review client contracts for risk and data protection compliance.
• Create and manage supply chain agreements for compliance.
• Draft contractual notices to clients or suppliers.
• Oversee data protection governance and DPIAs for new services.
• Identify data privacy risks and manage breach response plans.
• Deliver training on privacy and security; run internal audits.
• Bridge legal and IT/security to align controls.
• Draft contracts for internal freelance staff and secondments.
• Lead work permit processes and global mobility.
