Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to fill a Content Manager role based in the Netherlands. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on growing organic visibility for two digital brands, owning content strategy, editorial planning, production, optimization, and publication end-to-end.

You will lead a team of writers/editors while also directly writing and editing, with a strong focus on SEO, CMS management, and website performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering measurable improvements in organic search performance.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading (American English).
• Strong experience managing editorial briefs, calendars, deadlines, and publication workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute content strategy and editorial calendar across two websites.
• Manage writers and editors with briefs, deadlines, and feedback.
• Oversee full content lifecycle from research to publication and optimization.
• Manage website content in CMS with metadata, links, imagery, and CTAs.
• Lead SEO strategy including keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Coordinate technical SEO with developers (sitemaps, redirects, Core Web Vitals).
• Manage ethical link-building and digital PR efforts for coverage.
• Apply EEaT principles ensuring content is accurate and credible.
• Use AI tools responsibly with human oversight and editing.
• Improve conversion through service explanations and calls to action.
• Collaborate with sales/ops to address customer questions and objections.
• Maintain reporting on content performance via GSC/GA4 and SEO tools.
• Establish dependable content operation with clear workflows and standards.
• Conduct a 90-day audit to set baselines and roadmap for growth.
