Job summary

IMPROVEN is seeking a Consultant Data & AI who will operate at the intersection of business, data and IT. You will guide clients through data strategy, governance and AI initiatives, helping organisations realise tangible impact and better decision-making.

You’ll work closely with analysts and BI specialists while shaping governance and roadmaps across assignments. You will join a collaborative team in a hybrid setup, contributing to propositions and knowledge sharing while developing your own

Qualifications

• 3-8 years' experience as a consultant in data governance, data quality and/or data strategy
• Strong knowledge of data management principles including ownership, definitions, lineage and quality
• Familiar with laws and regulations around data (privacy, security, compliance)
• Experience in a consultancy environment and building propositions and knowledge sharing

What will you do as a Consultant Data & AI at IMPROVEN?

As Consultant Data & AI at IMPROVEN, you work in the preliminary phase of data and AI issues: exactly where vision, strategy, governance and organisation come together. You will help clients deploy data responsibly and effectively, so that strategic ambitions are actually realised. You advise on data strategy and data governance, support decision-making and create coherence between policy, organisation and information provision. In this way, you ensure better decision‑making, clear ownership and data that is actually used. You work closely with data analysts, BI specialists and other experts, but your strength lies in consultancy, analysis and advice, not in building code.

With your ability to reduce complex data and AI issues to their essence, you make them understandable and applicable for different target groups. In doing so, you help organisations take concrete steps towards data‑driven work and realise sustainable improvements.

• You have 3-8 years' experience as a consultant in terms of data governance, data quality and/or data strategy

• You have thorough knowledge of data management principles such as data ownership, definitions, lineage and data quality
• You are familiar with relevant laws and regulations around data (privacy, security, compliance)
• You take ownership and feel responsible for the whole process: from strategy to insightYou have experience within a consultancy organisation and enjoy combining client assignments with building IMPROVEN
• You communicate clearly and interact easily with different stakeholders
• You combine knowledge of AI and Data with a good sense of business and context
• You have relevant certifications, such as DAMA‑DMBOK/CDMP, or technical certifications (preferred)
• You may build and maintain dashboards and reports driving KPIs and decision‑making
