Job summary

Congress by design is seeking a Registration Specialist to help scientists, researchers and professionals join international congresses. You will act as the main contact from initial registration through to welcome at the congress, ensuring accurate processes and a warm, professional experience.

The role requires Dutch and English communication, service orientation, and the ability to work in a structured, independent yet team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Exhibits strong administrative process experience.
• Delivers accurate participant registrations and welcomes attendees.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for participants from registration to arrival.
• Ensure smooth registration flow for international congresses.
• Coordinate with project team on registration needs and timelines.

Job description

As a Registration Specialist, you help scientists, researchers and professionals from around the world come together at international congresses. With your accuracy and service-oriented approach, you ensure a smooth registration process and a warm welcome for all participants.

As a Registration Specialist, you work within a project team responsible for organising international scientific congresses. You are the main point of contact for participants, from their initial registration through to the moment they arrive at the congress.

We'll be a good fit if you

• Have at least MBO level 4 working and thinking level
• Work in a structured and accurate way and have experience with administrative processes
• Can communicate well in Dutch and English (other languages are a plus)
• Are service-oriented, independent and a team player
• Are comfortable working with different systems
• Are available for at least 24 hours per week (working during school hours is possible, except during congress periods)
• Preferably live in the region (max. approx. 30 minutes travel time to Alphen aan den Rijn)
