Magnum Ice Cream Co. in Amsterdam is seeking an intern to join the Global External Communications team, supporting Communications & Sustainable Business.

You will help bring TMICC’s story to life across external channels and campaigns, gaining hands-on experience in planning, content creation, and stakeholder coordination in a dynamic, international environment. You will report to the Global External Communications Manager, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and take end-to-end ownership

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in communications, journalism, media or business.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language is a plus.
• Available for 5–6 months, minimum 32 hours per week.
• Interest in corporate communications, storytelling or reputation management.

As an intern in the Global External Communications team supporting Communications & Sustainable Business, your ideas will help bring TMICC’s story to life, and your creativity will support how we show up across external channels.

• Full time

The team will provide you with opportunities to support corporate communications projects, create communication assets for campaigns and activations, support corporate partnerships and stakeholder events, and contribute to external storytelling. You will report to the Global External Communications Manager and support the wider team in managing communications in a dynamic, international environment.

You will develop practical skills in planning, content creation, stakeholder coordination, reporting and project management, with the opportunity to take end-to-end responsibility for selected communications projects.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Supporting TMICC’s external communications across corporate channels and key moments.
• Creating communication assets for campaigns, activations, events and media opportunities.
• Helping tell TMICC’s story, from company news and partnerships to brand activity and people stories.
• Collecting, structuring and managing input from different teams and stakeholders.
• Supporting corporate partnerships, including planning, coordination, content needs and follow-up.
• Taking ownership of selected projects from start to finish, including planning, delivery and reporting.
• Supporting the Global External Communications Manager and wider team with day-to-day communications priorities.
• Preparing senior leaders for external moments, including events, speaking opportunities and media engagements.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• You’re available for 5 to 6 months starting Feb/March 2027 (minimum 32 hours/week).
• You are enrolled (3rd or 4th year) in a Bachelor or Master’s, e.g. communications, journalism, media or business.
• You have a demonstrated interest in corporate communications, media, storytelling or reputation management.
• You understand the role of corporate communications in supporting the company first, while helping bring brand stories to life where relevant.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written. Dutch is a plus.
• You are eager and excited to learn.
• You excel in communication.
• You are proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership.
