The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking an EU Retail Project Lead to drive European retail growth across multiple markets. You will work with country teams, distributors, licensees and partners to translate strategy into action, delivering initiatives on time and within scope.

You will lead governance, track performance, and manage risks, collaborating with Finance, Supply Chain and Legal to ensure compliant execution across Europe. Hybrid work and travel are expected.

As EU Retail Project Lead, you will support the Global Head of Scooping in implementing Ben & Jerry's European retail growth agenda. Working closely with country business leaders, distributors, franchise partners, licensees, and cross‑functional teams, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of key retail initiatives across Europe. This role focuses on translating agreed strategy into action, ensuring projects are delivered against milestones, stakeholders remain aligned, and risks and dependencies are actively managed.

The role requires strong project management, relationship leadership, and business operations capabilities, along with the ability to navigate a complex, multi-market environment and drive execution through influence. You will consolidate performance insights, facilitate governance, and provide clear recommendations and escalation to the Global Head of Scooping to support timely decision‑making.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

• Support the Global Head of Scooping in implementing the European retail growth strategy and associated business priorities.
• Drive cross-functional project planning and execution for key European retail initiatives, ensuring alignment with approved strategies, scope, timelines, and objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and status reporting across European retail initiatives.
• Work with country business leaders to translate agreed priorities into actionable market plans and coordinate delivery across local teams.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, document decisions, assign follow‑up actions, and drive accountability for agreed deliverables.
• Identify project risks, issues, and resource dependencies; develop mitigation plans and elevate decisions or tradeoffs when required.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and country business leaders to monitor performance, track key metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and provide regular, concise updates on performance, milestones, risks, and recommended actions.
• Partner with Legal and local teams to understand contractual requirements and support appropriate follow‑through on market‑level compliance obligations.
• Facilitate collaboration across global and local retail teams to share best practices, remove barriers to execution, and support consistent implementation of processes and standards.
• Support change management and communications for key retail initiatives, helping stakeholders understand priorities, responsibilities, and timing.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for European retail transformation initiatives, connecting country and global stakeholders and maintaining visibility to progress and decisions.
• What you’ll need to succeed:
• Experience:Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business, retail management or similar field.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of retail industry, including franchise operations, financial management, and marketing strategies is a plus.
• Executional Leadership: Experience translating strategic priorities into practical plans and coordinating teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Financial Acumen:Strong financial management skills, including the ability to analyze financial data, develop business plans and budgets to ensure profitability.
• Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
