People with Skills is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to produce large, high-precision components in a technical manufacturing environment. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines, handling large workpieces and ensuring drawings are followed to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include selecting tools, monitoring the process, performing dimensional checks, and maintaining a safe workplace. The role offers a 2- or 3-shift pattern with a competitive base salary and shift allowances.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in CNC milling and machine setup.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Experience with precision measuring tools.
• Experience machining large components is an advantage.
• Careful clamping, alignment, and safe handling of heavy workpieces.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in a 2- or 3-shift system.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
• Position, clamp and align large workpieces, using lifting equipment and cranes.
• Select tools and adjust machining parameters.
• Monitor the machining process and make corrections when needed.
• Read technical drawings and follow production instructions.
• Perform dimensional checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Identify and report machining or quality issues.
• Carry out routine machine care and maintain a safe, organised workplace.
