Job summary

ASML is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Specialist to join its advanced manufacturing team in the Netherlands. You will operate conventional and CNC milling/turning machines and support the model shop in delivering high-quality prototype parts.

You will work closely with factory, development and engineering teams to optimize manufacturability and lead times, while maintaining strict quality standards. fluency in Dutch and English is required, with a strong service mindset.

Qualifications

• Vocational technical background (MBO).
• 5+ years in high tech development environment or proto experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience in NX CAD/CAM is needed or other CAD/CAM software; Heidenhain or related software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional milling/turning machines.

• Support cleanroom environment when disturbances occur.
• Produce parts/proto/dummy with mechanical machining.
• Check TPD and advise manufacturability.
• Research manufacturability, quality improvement and optimization of machining processes.

• Equipment maintenance, materials handling and cleaning of machines.
• Ensure quality on output of outgoing parts from the Modelshop.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers on short-term needs and priorities.

We are looking for a CNC Manufacturing Specialist , with a mechanical workshop mentality that takes a pivotal role as a linking pin between the ASML short time to market for production requests and the related proto challenges ahead to solve.

Role and responsibilities

As a CNC Manufacturing Specialist you will be operating in a fast paced and multidisciplinary development environment. Using your personal skills, you will work closely together with Factory and Development and engineering teams to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the product generation process.

You are primary responsible to ensure on time delivery with the right quality of the requested parts.

• Operate conventional milling/turning machine

• Operate CNC milling and turning machine

• Support organization in cleanroom environment when disturbances occur

• Producing parts/proto’s/dummy’s with mechanical machining (conventional and CNC Machining).

• Check TPD and give advice about the manufacturability.

• Research into manufacturability, quality improvement and optimization of the machining process.

• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and demands.

• Equipment maintenance, materials handling and cleaning of the machines.

• Ensure quality on output of outgoing parts from the Modelshop.

Regular tune with internal/external customers about the short term needs and priority’s. Communicate this information to the other team members.

Take care of the contacts within the team as well as the team members and internal/external customers.

Education and experience

• Vocational technical background (MBO)

• Preferably 5+ years’ experience in high tech development environment or proto experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• Experience in NX CAD/CAM is needed or other CAD/CAM software. In addition experience in Heidenhain or relevant software is preferred.

Other information

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 58,500 euro and 66,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing is not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
