Job summary

Nedap in Groenlo is hiring a Platform Engineer to expand Nedap Now, a cloud-based platform processing millions of messages daily from dairy farms worldwide. You will build foundational hosting, focus on Kubernetes, automation, and infrastructure stability.

The role is hybrid with 32-38 hours weekly. You’ll work with a team of developers and a test engineer, enjoy flexible hours, and have opportunities for growth, a thirteenth month, pension, and potential shareholder interests.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing and developing cloud-native environments.
• Strong Kubernetes hosting, deployment, networking, and reliability.
• Proficient with Azure; AWS/Google Cloud acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain platform components for reliable Kubernetes hosting.
• Automate build, deployment, and release processes for secure, fast deployments.
• Advance Azure infrastructure focusing on Kubernetes, networking, security, IAM, reliability.
• Collaborate with the team and review architecture decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, monitoring, performance, and reliability.
• Analyze critical issues and implement solutions for the software you own.
