Job summary

Nedap is seeking a Data Engineer in Groenlo, Netherlands, offering a hybrid work model and a target of 32‑38 hours per week. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines from edge devices to cloud processing, with real-time and batch capabilities, to support dairy-farming insights.

Qualifications

• At least three years as a Data Engineer or similar, with Python ETL pipelines.
• Experience with embedded systems or resource-constrained environments.
• Cloud familiarity with Blob Storage, Event Hubs, AKS, ACR.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust pipelines for real-time and batch processing across edge and cloud.
• Maintain reliable data flows from cameras and embedded sensors for training and inference.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to productionise models and deploy on the edge.
• Work with ML/CV engineers to ensure data flows are efficient, resilient and traceable.
• Build minimum-viable products used by customers.
