Job summary

Nedap Beveiligingstechniek B.V. is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer in the Netherlands to help scale and secure Nedap Now. You will work on cloud-native components, Kubernetes hosting, and automation, collaborating with a tight-knit team to deliver reliable infrastructure.

The role emphasizes Azure/Kubernetes expertise, DevOps practices, and strong communication in Dutch and English. A hybrid work arrangement applies, with on-site presence at Groenlo preferred several times a week.

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in managing and developing modern cloud-native environments, preferably Azure and Kubernetes.
Experience with hosting, deployments, networking and reliability in a production setting.
Cloud proficiency with Azure (AKS), DevOps tooling, security and networking considerations.
DevOps mindset with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform), automation and operational reliability.
Proficiency in Dutch and English for collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain platform components to keep the Kubernetes hosting environment reliable and scalable.
Improve automation in build, deployment and release processes for fast, secure rollouts.
Advance Azure infrastructure focusing on Kubernetes, networking, security and IAM.
Make architectural decisions with the team and review code for quality and reliability.
Contribute ideas to platform foundations and improvements in scalability, monitoring and performance.
Analyze critical issues in production and implement robust solutions for Nedap Now.
