Job summary

Medline is seeking a Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Kleve or Utrecht to join the Infrastructure Operations team. You will maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure and container platforms across Europe, ensuring secure, scalable services for business-critical applications.

Key responsibilities include operating the Azure cloud and Kubernetes platforms, implementing IaC with Terraform, supporting CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, incident analysis, and contributing to cloud modernization

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms, preferably AKS.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux server environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and firewalls.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and operational support.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong service-oriented mindset to support internal development teams.

• Support application and infrastructure teams with cloud-related requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and standards.
• Support platform lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Opportunity

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Medline's cloud infrastructure and container platforms, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable services for business-critical applications across Europe. You will work closely with infrastructure, application, security, and project teams to implement cloud solutions, support operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Are you a match?

Required Qualifications Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms, preferably AKS. Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices. Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD concepts. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
