Job summary

Environmental Resources Management in Utrecht is seeking a Consultant to support our Climate Change Advisory team. You will work on GHG inventories, target setting, LCA studies, and sustainability strategy development, collaborating with clients in the financial and corporate sectors to drive value in the low carbon transition.

You will contribute to sustainability ambition development, responsible reporting, and delivery of projects while expanding knowledge in climate-related services within

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in sustainability consulting/ESG strategy.
• Strong knowledge of GHG accounting & reporting.
• Ability to justify methodologies for GHG inventories and targets.
• Knowledge of climate change transition and related regulatory drivers.
• Experience managing small to mid-sized projects.

Responsibilities

• Support client projects in financial and corporate sectors to address climate-related challenges.
• Review GHG data, perform calculations, and evaluate performance.
• Define and set GHG targets based on science.
• Develop sustainability strategy and execution plans for clients.
• Prepare client reports and presentations and contribute to LCA studies.
