Job summary

Shine, a leading European fintech unicorn, seeks a Head of Performance in the CEO office. You will design and implement a company-wide KPI system, align incentives with metrics, and scale the performance function across multiple countries.

You will collaborate with the AI Enablement team and senior leaders to drive data-driven decision making. You’ll report to the CEO and work closely with the Chief of Staff, building a world-class performance function that brings consistency, speed, and impact

Qualifications

• Experience building and implementing a company-wide performance system.
• Proven ability to drive adoption of new reporting and KPI frameworks.
• Fluency in SaaS metrics: ARR, retention, unit economics.
• Strong data literacy and ability to work with data/engineering teams.
• Proficiency with BI/dashboarding tools and KPI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Shine's first company-wide performance system with KPI framework.
• Develop and implement a variable compensation framework aligned with business metrics.
• Roll out tooling, secure leadership buy-in, and embed the system in operations.
• Lead recurring business performance reviews with senior leadership and build executive dashboards.
• Own KPI governance, ensuring consistent metric definitions across teams.
• Collaborate with AI Enablement to automate the performance system as it scales.
• Coach senior leaders on data-driven decision making and change management.
• Partner with Finance, Data, and business units to scale the function.
