Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as Chief Engineer, preferably within towage.
• Extensive knowledge of machinery and systems specifically related to towage.
• In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct the engine room personnel on larger towage vessels.
• Monitor operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and systems.
• Responsible for planning and executing maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure compliance with maritime legislation and towing-specific regulations.
• Coordinate logistics around fuel, oil, lubricants, and supplies.
• Act as the link between the Master and engine room personnel.
