Job summary

Nedap Groenlo seeks a Chief Architect to guide Nedap's technology strategy and connect business goals with engineering practice. You will work across the organisation, advising the CTO and RAG, shaping architecture and driving strategic initiatives across Healthcare, Livestock, Retail and Security.

The role balances advisory responsibilities with hands-on influence, enabling flexible working hours with a hybrid model.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software engineering or software architecture across multiple landscapes.
Strong architectural skills and systems thinking with a solid foundation in software architecture and system design.
Business and domain context awareness enabling a holistic view.
Experience in software development; credibility with delivery teams.
Experience with (Strategic) Domain-Driven Design is a plus.
Experience facilitating workshops or architecture sessions is a plus.
Excellent command of Dutch and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Supporting the CTO, HOTs and RAG in architectural decisions.
Identify patterns, risks and overlaps across units and propose improvements.
Translate industry developments into Nedap insights and research new technologies.
Shape and develop Nedap's tech strategy.
Support delivery teams with architecture and design; run sessions.
Improve decision-making processes around architecture and tech strategy.
