About Jansz.

Jansz is an elegant yet approachable restaurant at Pulitzer Amsterdam where elevated casual dining meets the charm of a true Amsterdam canal house. The kitchen focuses on quality ingredients, refined flavours, and service that feels polished without becoming formal or stiff, under the leadership of Executive Chef Jeroen Boone.

A day in the life

As Chef de Partie, you take ownership of your section during preparation and service. You ensure dishes are prepared with consistency, quality, and attention to detail, while maintaining a smooth and organised workflow throughout the shift. You support and guide junior team members, communicate closely with the wider kitchen team, and help create a positive atmosphere during busy services. Alongside service, you maintain high standards in cleanliness, organisation, and HACCP compliance so that your section is always ready to perform at its best.

What you will do

• Manage your section during mise en place and service.
• Prepare and present dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
• Support and guide Demi Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs.
• Ensure ingredients are stored, labelled, and handled correctly.
• Work according to HACCP and food‑safety standards.
• Help maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen.
• Support stock control and minimise waste where possible.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie ready for the next step.
• Passion for quality ingredients and modern hospitality.
