Job summary

Haldu Group in the Netherlands is seeking an operator for a chilled production line to run packaging, slicing, loading and cheese-packing processes.

You will monitor quality, perform visual inspections, and ensure packaging integrity while adhering to hygiene, safety and documentation standards. The role follows a 3-shift schedule (2nd and night shifts) with allowances and a 37.5-hour workweek.

The client is an international dairy company that processes milk into dairy products and ingredients for consumers and customers worldwide, operating in 30 countries with over 19,000 employees.

Job Overview & Responsibilities

Working in a chilled production environment (ranging from 6°C to 14°C), your duties include:

• Operating and monitoring packaging, slicing, loading, and cheese-packing machinery, including weighing and pricing systems.
• Ensuring product quality by performing visual inspections, checking packaging and barcodes, and adjusting machine settings when necessary.
• Following all hygiene, safety, and quality standards, completing required documentation, and maintaining a clean and organized workplace.
• Reporting machine malfunctions or product deviations to the all-round operator and working efficiently to prevent defects and productivity losses.

Working days are Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week).

Work is Operating in a 3-shift system:

• 2nd shift (18:00–22:00): +30% allowance
• Night shift (22:00–07:00): +40% allowance

In addition to the gross hourly wage, workers get an 8% holiday allowance (vakantiegeld) and 10% holiday days (vakantiedagen).

The estimated net weekly wage iis around €530.
