Job summary

Albert Heijn Online in Barendrecht of Bleiswijk zoekt een Delivery Driver. Je bepaalt je eigen beschikbaarheid, werkt minimaal twee shifts per week en rijdt in de bekende blauwe AH bezorgbus.

Je bezorgt boodschappen bij klanten thuis of op kantoor, registreert leveringen, laadt de boodschappen in de bus en levert op tijd met een glimlach. Een geldig rijbewijs B is vereist, en je werkt zelfstandig met variërende uren.

Qualifications

• Category B rijbewijs, bij voorkeur ≥2 jaar beschikbaar.
• Beschikbaar voor minimaal twee shifts per week, inclusief minstens een avondshif.
• Beschikbaar voor twee zaterdagen per maand.
• In staat om zelfstandig naar Barendrecht of Bleiswijk te reizen voor vroege shifts.
• Vloeiende beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Bezorg groceries bij klanten thuis of op kantoor.
• Pak de scanner en route-informatie, laad boodschappen in de bezorgbus.
• Lever op tijd met klantvriendelijkheid.
• Verwerk betalingen wanneer nodig.
• Controleer leeftijd bij NIX18-producten.
• Rapporteer issues of feedback via de app.

Do you enjoy working independently and having the flexibility to choose when you work? Join Albert Heijn Online as a Delivery Driver in Barendrecht or Bleiswijk. You'll deliver groceries to customers' homes and offices in the well-known blue Albert Heijn delivery van. You decide your own availability, work a minimum of two shifts per week, and earn an all-in gross hourly wage of €20.17 (for employees aged 21 and over, including holiday allowance and shift allowances).

Wat ga je doen?

As a Delivery Driver, you are the face of Albert Heijn. You will independently drive a planned route and ensure that customers receive their groceries on time and with a smile.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collecting your scanner and route information before the start of your shift.
• Checking, scanning, and safely loading the groceries into the delivery van.
• Delivering groceries to customers' homes and offices.
• Collecting empty crates, returnable packaging, and any returns.
• Processing payments when required.
• Checking customers' age for age-restricted (NIX18) products.
• Reporting any issues or customer feedback in the app.
• Unloading the delivery van and completing your shift at the depot.

You will work independently, spend most of your day on the road, and interact with a variety of customers. This is an active role that requires you to regularly lift and carry grocery crates.

Waar ga je werken?

You will work at Albert Heijn Online in Barendrecht or Bleiswijk, alongside delivery drivers, planners, and logistics colleagues to ensure customers receive their online grocery orders on time. You provide your availability in advance and will be scheduled to work between 6 and 32 hours per week. Shifts are from 5:45 AM to 12:45 PM or 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The exact number of working hours depends on your availability and the planning.

A valid Category B driving licence is required, and a driving test is part of the recruitment process. After an introductory interview with Adecco, we will introduce you to Albert Heijn. Once you successfully complete the driving test, you can start the job and will spend your first three working days alongside an experienced buddy. Due to the early start times, it is important that you can travel to the location independently.

Wat vragen wij?

• You hold a valid Category B driving licence, preferably for at least 2 years.
• You are available to work at least two shifts per week, including at least one evening shift.
• You are available to work at least two Saturdays per month.
• You are available for both morning and evening shifts.
• You speak Dutch and/or English.
• You are customer-focused, reliable, and physically fit.
• You live in or near Barendrecht or Bleiswijk and are able to travel to the location independently for early morning shifts.
