For a large, complex capital programme, we are seeking a Change Coordinator to support the Programme Management of Change (MoC) process. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, administering, and controlling programme-level changes against an agreed baseline, ensuring that changes are managed in a structured, auditable, and compliant manner.
You will play a central role in supporting governance bodies, maintaining change records, and ensuring that decision-making is properly prepared, documented, and followed through.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of coordination for all changes within the Programme Management of Change procedure
- Administer and maintain the programme deviation and change register
- Verify completeness of change requests and assessment documentation (process compliance, not content)
- Ensure that required mitigation and implementation measures are defined prior to closure of change requests
- Prepare and support meetings of the Screening Panel and Change Review Board
- Record decisions and ensure traceability in line with programme governance requirements
- Coordinate with process owners to ensure appropriate expert representation in change reviews
- Support the designated decision authority during change review meetings
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the change management process as the programme progresses
Programme context
The programme operates with a structured stage-gate and baseline management approach, where changes are assessed and controlled against approved objectives, technical design, execution plans, milestones, and cost estimates. As the programme moves from design into construction, the change management focus and criteria evolve accordingly.
Required experience and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a comparable change coordination or project control role
- Experience working in complex, large-scale programmes or projects
- Proven experience with change management procedures and stage-gate governance
- Strong background in change administration, including registers, documentation control, and reporting
- Familiarity with project controls and integrated planning tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project)
Education and languages
- Master’s degree (WO level) or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Fluent in English (working language of the programme)
Additional requirements
- Experience in a highly regulated environment (e.g. nuclear, infrastructure, industrial or energy projects)
- Willingness to travel in The Netherlands, with main office location in Alkmaar
What’s offered
- A key coordination role within a high-profile, technically complex programme
- Exposure to senior governance bodies and decision-making processes
- A structured, professional programme environment with long-term project scope
