Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Material Operations Specialist I for our Leiden Cell Therapy site to manage routine materials handling, storage, and shipment activities in a fast-paced GMP environment.

You will oversee ambient and cold chain movements, ensure proper labeling, and support inventory control and documentation across internal and external customers. This onsite role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a cGMP warehouse environment.
• DOT/IATA/HazMat experience and certifications a plus.
• Experience with receiving, temperature storage, issuance, and inventory control practices.
• Experience in cold chain logistical movement of time critical and temperature sensitive biologics.
• Knowledge of Freight forwarder and courier direct shipments and associated documentation requirements is preferred.
• Understanding controlled temperature, humidity, and pest control monitoring for cGMP environments is required.
• Ability to understand and follow procedures.
• Operation of basic warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet stacker, etc.) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine warehouse activities: receipt, storage, transfer, distribution, disposal and cleaning of all materials per GMP procedures.
• Prepare materials for shipment to internal and external parties per GMP procedures.
• Label materials according to GMP procedures.
• Maintain inventory controls including cycle counting and disposition of rejected/expired materials.
• Coordinate internal and external customer requests across multiple unit operations during shifts.
• Assist in setting up operational equipment and fixtures and support facility commissioning as requested.
